PANDA Trial
HEALTH PROFESSIONALS
Are you a Health or Allied Practitioner who would like to be involved?
Are you interested in the health impacts of nature and prescribing nature to your patients?
Do you prescribe nature to your patients?
We invite you to participate in an online Focus Group interview with other health professionals to learn about your experiences of delivering nature prescriptions, or about your interest in providing nature prescriptions.
Funding and benefits of the research
This pilot study is being funded by a NHMRC MRFF grant. This research will provide a basis for future phases of the PANDA Trial for physically inactive 45y+ patients who have cardiometabolic diseases; the research may be of no direct benefit to you. Findings from the study will be published in academic journals and presented at conferences. Confidentiality is assured, and you will not be identified in any part of the research.
What is involved if I choose to participate?
In Phase 1 of the PANDA Trial we invite Health or Allied Practitioners to participate in an online Focus Group interview.
We ask you to participate in, and be aware of, the following;
Step 1: Complete a consent phone call and a screening questionnaire to check if you are eligible (approx 20-30mins to complete)
Step 2: Take part in an online recorded Focus Group interview (60-90mins)
To take part in this study you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
To be eligible to take part in the Australian Health Professional Focus Group you will be required to work in or near one of the following locations: Blacktown LGA , Wollongong LGA or Shellharbour LGA (NSW Australia).
To be eligible to take part in the Canadian Health Professional Focus Group you need to be registered with BC Parks Foundation PaRx.
